A map about giving in to the intrusive voices in your head and feeding yourself to eldritch beings; whomst among us has not yearned to feed themselves to Eldritch beings?

This is a micro map, only about 3 minutes long, that's more interested in selling its concept and iconography than crafting intricate combat or traversal. It sees you breaking into some kind of facility, covered in pentagrams and suspended over an endless void. Along the way you hear the call of some strange being: "I am the lock", "You are the key". Don't you want to feel important , don't you want to feel like you belong the map asks you. "Why yes I do", I answer, "It certainly is true that the current moment of human history is extremely alienating in a variety of different ways all at once!" It has faint echoes in my mind of the cult of unitology in the Dead Space series. In the far future, the march of capital to the stars has only led to a greater sense of dehumanisation and isolation among humanity; being told that they had a future, that they mattered, was enough to con people into unknowingly joining a galactic murder cult, opiate of the masses and all that.

So sure, ours is not to question the alluring voice commanding us to give ourselves away, only to obey, why not.

This isn't a particularly riveting map or one that I'd be interested in replaying, but the conceit and basic execution make it worth playing through once.
